My research concerns the impact of emergent forms of digital learning (such as MOOC) on networked knowledge organisations. I am Senior Fellow at University of St Gallen’s Digital Campus Initiative and a researcher at the Institute for Systemic Management and Public Governance (IMP-HSG), writing a dissertation on managing digital cultures within German institutions of Higher Education.
I am a member of the working group “Internationalization and Marketing” in Germany’s national Forum for Digitization in Higher Education. I co-authored the white paper of the commission “New Media and Knowledge Transfer” for the German Rector’s Conference regarding the impact of MOOC in German universities.
On campus, I teach courses on Digital Storytelling and Media Production , currently in the Leadership Skills-Program at the University of St. Gallen and at Leuphana College. Previously I have also taught at University of Zurich and Free University Berlin.
I am a member of the Global Open Education Graduate network (Go-GN) and a research associate at the Centre for Digital Cultures of Leuphana University. I develop MOOC and co-ordinate research activities at Leuphana Digital School.
My expertise as a free-lance consultant centers on Learning Experience Design and Cross-Media Storytelling, with fifteen years experience in digital publishing and strategic communication.
